This blog is co-authored by an artist named Anna-Celestrya and Tik-A-Lee-Kick, a fairy from the prairie crocus clan. Anna and Tik-A-Lee-Kick share a love of being short, otters, fuzzy socks, kindness, and most importantly stories.
I had a dream a year or two ago that I was mixing thick purple paints. I was painting a large canvas, pouring and weaving the different shades of purple. The painting had three buffalo skulls on it, white like chalk.
When I woke up I quickly did the picture in photoshop so I wouldn’t forget. Now I’ve been working on a smaller version and the big one at the same time. The big painting is 4 feet by 4 feet. I wanted to make it even bigger but currently this is the largest canvas I have.
Had a play date with my little sister Alexina last Sunday. A play date is us wanting to hangout, it doesn't actually have anything to do with entertaining her children. We took a walk near her house, the weather was miserable and we actually came across snow. It feels like spring is never going to actually get here.
Yesterday I attended the May Day rally with my family. The event went well but my poor sister’s feet were so blistered afterward. I thought the bruises were very becoming next to her pink nail polish.
The first stages of putting together the Shevchenko art show. Came across some gorgeous Ukrainian eggs.
“Victor the Sea Monster” is a drawing done by Tick-A-Lee-Kick. She was daydreaming about a sea monster who swallows house boats. Then his eyes change into big yellow windows.
In the daydream everything was made out of pieces of felt and fabric. But, she made her drawing with pencil crayons and markers.
Tick-A-Lee-Kick wasn’t too happy with it but I told her it was good for someone working with art supplies that are twice her size.
Spring does not look like it’ll be here anytime soon. Because of the blizzard today I was going through my “I Love Winter” art journal. I haven’t done a whole lot of pages in it because I’m having a difficult time loving winter in Winnipeg. 
New Friday’s Feet
Slowly getting back into blogging and actually having a set schedule.
I wore these tights on Valentine’s Day, they’ve become my favourite pair. I had Yuri take the picture because I couldn’t get the angle I wanted and didn’t have the patience to set it up for myself.
