On The Road

Taken on the way to Hecla, I was the keynote speaker for the Girl Guides of Manitoba's Leader Conference. I hadn't slept and I was so nervous. My mother drove me and watched my presentation. It was a really lovely day.

Mother's Day Feet

My feet with my  grandma on Mother's Day. My first Mother's Day with the twins. I got to sleep in really late and woke up to cards and flowers. I had planned to make a small banner with my babies that day but I didn't get the time. It's still on my to do list. 

Formatting isn't working so well on my blog today. I've been fighting with my computer so this post is going to turn out the it wants to and not the way I want it to. Brat.

My sister made this fantastic desert, strawberry shortcake in mason jars. My throat hurt so much that day and this was so lovely to eat, I had two.

Climbing The Walls

He had been really cranky so I took him into the bedroom to play one on one. 

He has the cutest pink feet.

Little Pink House

Tik-A-Lee-Kick was beside herself with delight when she saw the little pink house and little pink tree. 

She asked me to take a photo with my phone. 

The little pink house people have a sign that says they "support postal workers" Tik and I were pleased. 

Tik-A-Lee-Kick is a big fan of postal workers, although she never receives mail. 

Whatever

The babies were so unimpressed by our walk along the river. They had these "I've seen better" expressions on their faces. Well they're little for now I'l be ridiculously excited for all three of us.

Wanted Good Woman

My recently taken feet photos feature the stroller and these sandals. I don't have any spring shoes at the moment I need to get new ones or fix my old ones .  Also I adore my stroller.  

I just love taken pictures with dandelions scattered about.

Little Decorated House

I found this sign the other day. "Wanted Good Woman Must be able to cook, clean, sew, dig worms, clean fish. Must have a fishing boat! Please send picture of boat" My first thought was I was not the woman they were looking for. Worms and I like to avoid each other on the sidewalk.  I like the shape of the little tree in the background, I'm going to go back and take a picture when it has leaves. 

This house reminds me of a boat or a barge from the Sims 3. I think once they're done building one day it will just float down the river. 

I have lots of silly thoughts. 

Day 91 of 365 Feet Project

Starting Again

I took the boys out for a quick walk before a big storm was suppose to hit Winnipeg. 

The weather been too cold for walks. It's been disappointing not being able to get the boys out of the house everyday. 

We stayed close to the apartment. The sky was a fantastic grey with dark clouds on the horizon.

Artis looks like an elf, he's smiling because I'm smiling at him. Oberon is holding on  but when I checked him he was completely calm.  I think he likes to be dramatic. 

On my walks I've been taking quick pictures with my phone of things I think are delightful. Small houses, trees and cracks in the sidewalk. I'd like to start sketching after our walks but I haven't found the time yet.

Some New Wheels

We picked up our first stroller a week ago. I love, love, love it! It's my new favorite thing. I took the boys on the bus for the first time on May 1st. I'm so excited to plan more trips.
