Always Moving Forward

This is my favorite picture of my feet from my day in Boston. It's right by the aquarium.

It looks like it should have a little motivational saying written across the steps.

126 of 365 Feet Project

I like how the smudge on my camera lens makes the stone look worn down from feet.

Beach Boys

The other day we went to the town beach. Very small and cute. We didn't bring our swim gear but sat for awhile in the evening. Another family swimming offered to take our picture with the babies. The mom was trying to take the picture and her husband was waving his hands in the air trying to get the twins to smile.

Oberon and I had a nice conversation while Artis pretended he was a jellyfish.  The last two photos of Artis are hilarious he tried to spit but the wind wouldn't let him.

I've been showing the babies how to blow kisses but all the do is spit at me.

The smudge is right over my feet but I love the pattern of the stone.

Pedal Powered Swans

I didn't realize until the end of the day that I had a giant smudge on my camera lens. On some pictures it's not noticeable and on others it's kinda nice. On this one the smudge is not so great.

I'm on one of the foot bridges in Boston. A swan boat was passing by but I didn't get much of it in my foot picture.

120 of 365 Feet Project

I just got home from spending the entire day walking around Boston with my family. Today (Tuesday) was my 5 year wedding anniversary. I spent the day walking through gardens and waving at penguins. I also took lots of pictures of my feet and the various architecture of Boston's sidewalks.

The rest of the week I'll be posting my feet all over Boston's pavement.

Yuri and I went kayaking while in Cape Cod. I took a couple of pictures while sitting before I actually got into the water. I was afraid I'd tip and ruin my camera or loose it forever.

Off To See The Whales

Every time I'm near the ocean I like to go and say hi but I usually don't go in. In Cape Cod my father-in-law took me whale watching on our last day of vacation.

I was very pleased with the whales I saw and with myself for not throwing up.

Another Cape Cod photo. I have no idea where those sandals went. I miss them.

Thinking About Cape Cod

I've been thinking about Cape Cod a lot lately and really want to go there this summer. It's only a few hours away. I really love the houses.

I've also been thinking about living in a lighthouse. Something I've wanted to do since I was small. I've been researching how one goes about renting or buying a lighthouse.

There's No Sidewalk Anymore

Walking around Stow can be very confusing. The neighborhood is all circles and no street signs. Also, the sidewalks that do exist have been taken over by roots and grass.

I got so turned around the other day that I had to use a GPS to get back home.

Artis is the green glasses and Oberon is the blue.

Funny Face

The twins are sitting up on their own and beginning to correct themselves when they get off balance. I'm so impressed. Oberon isn't as sturdy as Artis yet.

Oberon is the one making a silly face and Artis is really concentrating on his toy.

No One Likes Carrots

Oberon (left) woke up from a nap and ate everything in the kitchen. He seems determined to catch up to his brother in weight. The last two days was the first time in a really long time Obi took a real nap.

Artis (right) was completely different. My usually easygoing baby refused to sleep and barely ate anything.

Oh well at least we all have cute feet.

Beth Dies At The End

Yesterday I went out to lunch with Ginger (my mother in law) and her friend Meg. The restaurants bathroom floor reminded me of a Mark Rothko.

The other day I was going through my old notebook and I came across a book idea I had. The book would be called "Beth dies at the end" and in the conclusion she doesn't because sometimes you're told the wrong information.

Out of Breath

First time biking, really cycling in a long time. I needed to get some last minute things done so I borrowed Rosie's bike. It is so hard to petal. I took this photo when I was taking a break at a stop sign.

Turned Around

Walking around my new neighborhood. I got a little lost so I had to use GPS to get back to the house. All the trees and houses look the same.

A Very Long Day

My mother's plaid stairs. I think this was the end of my last day in Winnipeg. I still wasn't finished packing and I was going to take a nap at my mom's in my old room with the boys. I got up around 4am and walked home with the babies to finish getting ready for our flight. That was a really stressful time but my mom was great, really encouraging and she made sure I got some sleep.

On The Move

On a moving sidewalk at the Boston Airport. My first time flying with the twins. It was a long day but they were fantastic.

My feet were sore when I finally took my shoes off. My favorite pumps have not done well and I'll need to replace them soon. I'll be sad when they are gone.

Peace Festival Feet

Took this picture while Yuri and I were walking in the Winnipeg Peace March last Sunday. A nice event but sadly not too many people attending.

This was the boys second march but first peace festival.

8 Months Old

Artis-Yul (right) and Oberon-Wolf (Left) are 8 months old and 2 days. My two favorite people. They both have huge personalities. Obi has a lot of complaints and even though he's the small one he makes sure we know his opinion. Artis has been getting a little jealous recently. He always wants to know what Oberon is up to. He's like who's this guy? What are you doing with him mom? He also likes to take Oberon's soother when they are side by side.

Scolded!

Last June I helped put up an art show for the Ukrainian Labor Temple at the Legislature.  I was tired and pregnant so I sat on the floor. I took my shoes off because they kept slipping but got in trouble with the guard. So I sat down in the middle of the hallway.

Tonight I can't sleep and I remembered I've been horribly neglectful of my blogs and my feet project. I've been taking pictures but not posting.

I decided not to beat myself up but to just continue until I reach my number.

Found Shoes

In our parking lot found a pair of sneakers.

Day 100 of 365 Feet Project

On The Road

Taken on the way to Hecla, I was the keynote speaker for the Girl Guides of Manitoba's Leader Conference. I hadn't slept and I was so nervous. My mother drove me and watched my presentation. It was a really lovely day.
